Copa Libertadores Pairings Released
Ecuadorian club side LDU Quito will face Colombia’s Atletico Nacional in the next round of the Copa Libertadores. Liga will therefore have a chance to knock out the former club of Ecuador national team coach Luis Suarez. Incidentally, Suarez won the Copa Libertadores as a player with the Medallin club in 1989. As such, we like to keep a close eye on what Liga are up to. Last night’s match was the first for both clubs in the ‘octavos de final’ stage of this, South America’s most pretigious club competition.
