No word yet onwhether they’ve been rewarded with ceviche as they were last weekend after the Poland match.

If Ecuador draws 0-0 with Germany, how will the winner of Group A be decided?

Hi Bobbio. If Ecuador and Germany draw on Tuesday, each will finish with 7 points. The first tiebraker is Goal Difference. In other words, goals scored, minus goal allowed.

If the two teams draw and each finish with seven points, then Ecuador would win Group A with a goal difference of +5, while Germany would have a goal difference of just +3.

Therefore, Germany must win on Tuesday to take the Group, while Ecuador need only a draw.
