Baby World Cup: D-Day
April 30th, 2006 | By: Trent | No Comments »
Well, maybe I’m not the person taking the Baby World Cup seriously. To refresh your memories, the final of the youth-team World Cup is being held today in Quito, Ecuador. In the match, a youth team representing ‘Ecuador’ will face ‘Trinidad and Tobago’ for all of the marbles. And in fact, they may be playing for marbles.
At any rate, one newspaper in Ecuador has published the starting lineups in the 7-a-side tournament.

I hate to be negative, but only an idiot would play Eduardo Gonzalez on the left. Unbelievable. Knowing this, I am guaranteeing a Eucaliptos/Ecuador victory today.
