Agustin Delgado Ban Lifted
May 3rd, 2007 | By: Trent | 1 Comment »
Ecuador striker Agustin Delgado has seen his year-long match ban lifted by the FEF. Good news for El Tin, although this reprieve came a bit too late to allow the big man to join the New York Red Bulls of MLS as intended.
LDU Quito teammate and Peruvian midfielder Roberto Palacios also had his own ban lifted.
Through tears, El Tin noted: “These five months have been very tough. The mistake, which I’m sorry to have made, has left me with painful and unforgettable lessons.”
